A 1979 Longines Ref. 4200 powered by the in-house Caliber L994.1, part of Longines' renowned L990 family and among the brand's last fully in-house automatic movement series. Its thin 7mm profile wears exceptionally well on the wrist.
The 30mm gold-plated case with stainless steel caseback features a cushion-shaped "TV screen" design with a stepped bezel. It houses a factory-finished golden linen dial with applied baton hour markers. Black pencil hour and minute hands are paired with a framed date window at three o'clock. The winged Longines hourglass logo sits beneath twelve o'clock. The watch retains its original crown set with a deep blue cabochon.
Powered by the Longines Caliber L994.1 automatic movement. Fully serviced and running well.
The watch presents in good overall condition. The case and crystal have scratches and scuffs consistent with age, but no major damage.
Paired with a new premium Hirsch leather strap.

Note: Each watch is photographed with a high-powered macro lens to highlight every detail. As a result, fine scratches or surface marks may appear more pronounced than they do to the naked eye.
