Introduced in the late 1960s, the Longines Ultra-Chron line was known for its high-beat movements, designed to deliver greater accuracy and a smoother sweep of the seconds hand.

This 1974 Longines Ultra-Chron Ref. 8309 features a 34mm stainless steel case and a factory-finished silver crosshair dial with applied black and silver baton “doorstop” hour markers and matching silver hands. With its original signed crown, 10mm thickness, and 40mm lug-to-lug profile, it wears balanced.

Powered by the Longines Caliber 6651 automatic movement with date complication, the watch has been fully serviced and is keeping excellent time.

The case and crystal are in overall good condition, showing surface wear and scratches consistent with age but no major damage. Paired with a Rios1931 leather strap.
