Produced in 1974, this Longines Ref. 1501 is a clean example of the brand’s early-1970s automatic design, pairing a sharp stainless steel case with the in-house Caliber 506 and a surprisingly modern silver dial.

The 35mm stainless steel case houses a silver dial with applied black-accented baton hour markers, a silver winged hourglass logo beneath twelve o’clock, and a framed date window at three o’clock. The dial retains its intact tritium hour plots with an even cream patina, while the steel baton hands now have an open skeletal appearance where the original tritium fill has been lost. Radial brushing remains visible across the upper bezel, and the watch retains its original signed Longines crown.

Powered by the Longines Caliber 506 automatic movement with 21 jewels. Fully serviced and running well.

The watch presents in good overall condition. The dial remains in great condition, and the case suggests little to no previous polishing. There are scratches and light surface wear throughout, but no major damage.

Paired with a black Hirsch leather strap.
