This 1974 Longines Admiral Chronometer is a well-built example from the brand’s 1970s lineup.

The 35mm stainless steel case features soft angular lines and a fluted crown. On the wrist, it wears robust for its size. Its factory-finished blue dial retains a rich, even tone with some fading beneath the silver-plated Longines logo. Applied stick markers and silver-plated baton hands give it a clean, balanced appearance. The lume on the hands and indices has aged to a warm pumpkin hue, adding character to the dial.

Powered by the Longines Caliber 5561 automatic movement with date function, it has been recently serviced and is keeping excellent time.

The watch is in overall good condition, showing scratches and scuffs but no major damage. The stainless steel Longines bracelet has lots of flexibility with minor scratches from wear but no major damage, and can accommodate larger wrists.

Note: Each watch is photographed with a high-powered macro lens to highlight every detail. As a result, fine scratches or surface marks may appear more pronounced than they do to the naked eye.
