Produced around 1969, this Longines Ref. 8397-1 pairs a square stainless steel case with a very unique deep blue dial combination and the in-house Caliber 285 manual-wind movement.
The 30mm stainless steel case houses a matte deep blue dial with applied faceted double baton hour markers and a white radial minute track. Steel baton hands are paired with a central sweep seconds hand. An angled date window sits between four and five o’clock. The watch retains its signed Longines crown.
Powered by the Longines Caliber 285 manual-wind movement. Fully serviced and running well.
The watch presents in good overall condition. The center of the dial remains clean and crisp, with some paint rising along the outer edges beneath the bezel. The case and crystal have light scratches and surface wear throughout, but no major damage.
Paired with a black Hirsch leather strap.

Note: Each watch is photographed with a high-powered macro lens to highlight every detail. As a result, fine scratches or surface marks may appear more pronounced than they do to the naked eye.
