Produced during the era when Gérald Genta was shaping many of the most influential case designs in Swiss watchmaking, this 1966 Omega Constellation Ref. 168.017 showcases the iconic “C-Case” form closely associated with his work.
The 34mm gold-plated case houses a factory sunburst champagne dial with the applied Omega logo beneath twelve, the “Chronometer Officially Certified” designation, and the applied gold Constellation star at six o’clock. Applied gold baton hour markers with black lacquer detailing are paired with black baton hour and minute hands. A framed date window sits at three o’clock. The watch retains its signed Omega crown and signed Omega crystal.
Powered by the Omega Caliber 564 automatic chronometer movement, it has been recently serviced and is running well. The Caliber 564 features a quickset date function operated by pulling the crown fully to the second position.
The case is in good overall condition, showing oxidation to the brushed surfaces along with scuffs and scratches consistent with age, but no major damage. The signed crystal shows minor scratches. The caseback bears a personalized engraving reading, “To John from Kitty – 1969.”
Paired with an olive-toned Rios1931 leather strap with Omega buckle.

Note: Each watch is photographed with a high-powered macro lens to highlight every detail. As a result, fine scratches or surface marks may appear more pronounced than they do to the naked eye.
