Built around the legendary Caliber 853, this 1960 IWC Schaffhausen showcases Albert Pellaton's revolutionary automatic winding system, helping establish IWC's reputation for producing some of the finest in-house automatic movements of the twentieth century.

This 34mm stainless steel case houses an original silver dial that has developed a richly aged multi-toned patina over decades. Warm cream and amber tones are accented by darker gunmetal grey spotting across the dial, giving it a textured, planetary appearance. Applied faceted baton hour markers, with double batons at twelve and six o'clock, are paired with pencil hands and a central sweep seconds hand. The case is fitted with a signed "Fish" crown.

Powered by the IWC Caliber 853 automatic movement. Fully serviced and running well.

The watch presents in good overall condition. The case and crystal have scratches and scuffs, but no major damage.

Paired with a black Hirsch leather strap.
