1950 Omega
Movement: Caliber 283(17 jewels) Manual Wind
Case size 33mm
Lug width: 17mm
No box or papers
This Omega, manufactured in 1950, features a stunning tropical black dial, aged over the years to develop a rich, coffee-ground-like patina. Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 are paired with applied dagger hour indices, while gold dagger hands are boldly accented by a red seconds hand. Every detail on the dial has aged cohesively, creating a harmonious aesthetic.
Housed in a 33mm gold-filled case with a signed crown, the watch is in overall good condition for its age. There are scratches and signs of wear throughout, but no significant damage. The case also shows some oxidation.
Powered by an Omega Caliber 283 manual wind movement, its service history is unknown, but it is running well. Paired with a custom leather strap from Japan.
