The Omega Seamaster 2577 is recognized as the first reference in the Seamaster line, introduced in 1948 to commemorate Omega’s 100th anniversary.

This particular example, produced in 1950, features a 34mm gold-capped (80 microns) case with thick lugs. The non-luminous eggshell dial has aged beautifully, showcasing gold dauphine hands, gold stick markers, an inner track ring, and a gold Omega logo below 12 o’clock. Notably, some early examples—like this one—were produced without the "Seamaster" signature on the dial.

The watch is in overall good condition for its age, with scratches and signs of wear throughout but no significant damage.

Powered by the Omega Caliber 351 automatic movement, it has just been serviced and is running excellently. Paired with a Hirsch leather strap, this early Seamaster is a noteworthy piece of Omega history.
